La Carlota City is composed of 14 barangays, three ( 3) Urban and eleven ( 11) Rural.  The urban barangays are:  Barangay I, Barangay II, Barangay III  all located in the city proper.  Barangay Yubo with a distance of seventeen point nine (17.9) kilometers from the urban core is the farthest.
