     With part of its vision to serve the general constituency in a pro-active and dynamic manner, the city government of La Carlota continues to implement the One-Stop Shop method on the issuance/renewal of business permits and of licenses and other transactions starting January 3, 2012.

     This is in adherence to the La Carlota City Citizen’s Charter subscribing to the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) – Republic Act 9485. Customers at City Hall are fully guided on the process of business papers through posters and charts and personnel ready to explain what clients need to know about.

     Courtesy lanes for senior citizens and persons with disability were provided.

     The system was manned by the following offices and their personnel: City Health Office (CHO): Marilou F. Sendico - Sanitation Inspector II and Florencia B. Valencia- Sanitary Inspector I for the issuance of sanitary permit to operate and health certificate. The Philippine National Police (PNP) designated SPO2 Noli B. Navarro and TE Jose Breman Fieldad to issue certificate of compliance to public utility tricycles.

     CPDO Zoning Division desk was attended by Engr. Noel C. Famillaran- Zoning Officer IV and Ronilo Pernito- Zoning Officer II to give out Certificate of Zoning Compliance for Business. Celso N. Bedija, Lincense Officer I and Herlinda P. Jocsing, Clerk II staffed the CMO permit and license division desk. Jeffrey J. Tirona was in charged for the screening and recording while Rebel Matusa and Joy Lim were assigned to issue the official receipts for franchise and permit of utility vehicles. The City Engineer’s Office (CEO) also assigned Iluminada Garin-Administrative Officer III to confirm building permit fees. The Federation of United Association of La Carlota (FUNTALACC), a tricycle operators and drivers federation issued the TODA certification.

     As of January 17, 264 business permits were issued; 675 sanitary permits and health certificates; and 530 franchises fees for permit to operate utility vehicles.
