CHO, CAO Cited for Distinctive Work


     The City of La Carlota recently received several awards earned by the City Health Office and the City Assessor's Office. The DOH Center For Health Development Region VI awarded the certificate of recognition to the City of La Carlota in its support for the successful implementation of the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) during the period of April-May 2011. The City Health Office was also recognized for its commendable performance implementations of the Expanded Program on Immunization for CY 2010, and for CHO was the high cure rate on TB program. On the other hand, a certificate of recognition was awarded to Midland Negros Inter Local Health Zone in recognition of the efforts to achieve targets in the LGU Scorecard towards the attainment of Kalusugan Pangkalahatan. These awards were given last December 15, 2011, respectively, in Iloilo City. Mayor Juliet Marie D. Ferrer is the current president of the Midland Negros ILHZ.

     The City Assessor's Office was also recognized by the Department of Finance Bureau of Local Government Finance Region VI and the Regional Association of Treasurers and Assessors in Region VI (REGATA VI) as the 2nd Most Outstanding City Assessment Office in Region VI for CY 2010. It obtained the 2nd highest performance evaluation rating of 93.20%. It was also awarded the plaque of recognition as one of the best 5S implementers in Region VI. The 5S stands for the good housekeeping terms such as standardize, systematize, sort, sweep, and self-discipline as a key to a productive workplace. The awards were given last December 9, 2011 also in Iloilo City.
