Rice Distribution and Feeding Program

           As a way of helping the underprivileged constituents, Mayor Demie John C. Honrado implemented a rice distribution and feeding program for the residents and children of Purok Katilingban, Brgy. II-Pob. Last January 22, 2010.

            A total of 120 children were the beneficiaries of the delicious and nutritious foods prepared through the efforts of kagawads Jervy Advincula, Mario Sulatra, Binggi Bermudo, Zaldy Magan, Rheno Managuit and Emilia Dollete.

            The rice distribution for qualified recipients in the same area was held at the city engineer’s office compound.  Some 163 indigent families received the much-needed assistance.  The mayor was assisted by SP member Julian M. Chiang and Brgy. Captain Annabelle Q. Bermudo.

            The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the mayor for the expression to the mayor for the expression of love and care to the economically disadvantaged constituents.  The rice distribution through the food-for-work program was also implemented in different remote areas of the city.---RCV
